Carbon steel weathering steel plate refers to a protective rust layer that is resistant to atmospheric corrosion and can be used to manufacture steel structures that are exposed to the atmosphere for a long time such as vehicles, bridges, towers, and containers.

    Compared with ordinary carbon steel, weathering steel has better corrosion resistance in the atmosphere.    Weathering steel is made of ordinary carbon steel with a small amount of corrosion-resistant elements such as copper and nickel added.  It has the characteristics of high-quality steel such as toughness, plastic extension, forming, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature, and fatigue resistance.

    It can also be used to manufacture structural parts such as containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, seaport buildings, oil production platforms, etc., providing a new solution to the problem of fire prevention and anticorrosion of exposed unprotected steel structures.
